On November 5, 2026, The AI Insider reported that Agility Robotics, backed by Nvidia, Amazon, SoftBank, and Foxconn, completed a $465 million SPAC merger with Churchill Capital Corp XI. The deal made Agility the first pure-play humanoid robotics company publicly listed in the U.S., and the company debuted on Nasdaq under the tickers AGLT and AGLTW. According to The AI Insider, Agility was valued at approximately $2.5 billion pre-money, and insiders retained their shares subject to a 180-day lock-up. The AI Insider reported that Agility raised around $465 million in gross proceeds before expenses. All existing equity rolled into the merged entity, and no insiders sold shares at listing. In addition, its Salem, Oregon manufacturing facility is designed to eventually produce up to 10,000 robots annually. The outlet further noted that the company’s order book for its Digit 5 robot has exceeded $300 million in committed multi-year commercial orders from GXO, Schaeffler, Toyota, and Amazon. Agility plans early access to Digit 5 for the first half of 2027 and aims for general availability by year-end, according to The AI Insider. According to The AI Insider, Agility reported only $1.8 million in revenue for 2025 and projects a $138–140 million operating loss for 2026. However, its market outlook remains strong as major customer commitments and strategic investor backing bolster confidence in its growth trajectory. The AI Insider also reported that Foxconn contributed $201 million as part of the deal. Meanwhile, Agility’s debut followed China-based Unitree’s listing on Shanghai’s STAR Market three months earlier at nearly 20 times Agility’s valuation, which underscores rising global interest in humanoid robotics. As a result, Agility Robotics continues to develop its industrial automation technology with support from leading technology and manufacturing firms and positions itself within a rapidly growing sector.
