- Injective debuts AI-powered "iBuild" platform to streamline DApp creation.
- Other key initiatives include a new token burn model, a revenue fund, and a governance council.
On July 3, 2025, Cointelegraph reported that Injective announced several groundbreaking initiatives at its NYC summit, including an AI-powered DApp builder, new token burning mechanisms, and governance innovations. With these efforts, Injective aims to make decentralized finance (DeFi) more accessible, sustainable, and community-driven.
Injective's flagship announcement was iBuild, an AI-powered decentralized application (DApp) builder. The platform allows users to create financial applications with simple text prompts, eliminating the need for specialized programming knowledge and empowering Web2 developers and non-technical entrepreneurs to transition into the blockchain space. By simplifying development, Injective positions this platform as a catalyst for wider DeFi adoption and targets a new generation of innovators.
The summit also introduced a refined "Community Burn" model. The new model shifts the token burning process from a weekly "winner-takes-all" auction to a more inclusive monthly platform that will offer 50 to 100 participation slots. This democratized format enables broader community involvement and allows participants to contribute INJ tokens for burning. As a deflationary mechanism, the updated model supports Injective's vision for a balanced and sustainable token ecosystem.
In addition, Injective unveiled the Injective Revenue Fund, which transparently aggregates on-chain revenue in real-time. The fund will allocate this revenue toward token burns and other ecosystem-enhancing activities, reinforcing Injective's dedication to financial transparency and supporting long-term, community-driven growth.
To enhance governance, Injective announced the creation of the Injective Council, which includes representatives from leading firms like Binance, Deutsche Telekom, Google Cloud, and Galaxy Digital. The council will meet bi-monthly to evaluate protocol developments, oversee significant partnerships, and guide critical decisions, ensuring its trajectory aligns with industry standards and community expectations.
According to CoinMarketCap, as of July 3, 19:15 UTC, Injective (INJ) was trading at $11.492, reflecting a 1.838% increase in 24-hour trading volume.
