On June 5, 2025, Cointelegraph reported that Pan-European fund manager APS, which manages over €12 billion ($13.7 billion) in assets, made a pivotal investment in the tokenized real estate market. The fund allocated €3 million ($3.4 million) to tokenized bonds connected to two residential properties in Italy, using MetaWealth's blockchain platform for the transaction.
APS divided the investment equally, allocating €1.5 million to each property: Fo.Ro Living Rome and Porta Pamphili Rome. Blockchain technology facilitated both the transaction and its recording.
MetaWealth, which started its operations in 2023, focuses on tokenizing Pan-European real estate, offering investors fractional ownership and enabling expedient transfers of real estate tokens. To date, MetaWealth's platform has facilitated over $50 million in tokenized transactions involving properties in Romania, Spain, Greece, and Italy.
According to CoinMarketCap on June 5, as of 12:00 UTC, Ethereum (ETH) was trading at $3,214. The platform also noted a 2.3% increase in ETH's 24-hour trading volume.
