- Crypto exchange AscendEX sees user withdrawals pending up to 10 days - Analyst ZachXBT flags near-empty hot wallets, escalating insolvency fears On June 26, 2026, Cryptopolitan reported that several AscendEX users have experienced delayed or incomplete withdrawals, and some withdrawals have been pending for as long as 10 days, intensifying concerns over the exchange’s liquidity and operational stability. The withdrawal issues became prominent when blockchain investigator ZachXBT publicly highlighted a near-absence of liquid assets in AscendEX’s hot wallets. According to Cryptopolitan on June 26, users began complaining about stuck or incomplete withdrawals several days earlier, and in multiple cases, customer balances reflected deductions yet no blockchain transaction hash appeared. This absence of transaction hashes prevents users from tracking their assets on-chain, and some withdrawal requests have reportedly remained unresolved for up to 10 days. Cryptopolitan noted that blockchain analysis conducted by ZachXBT showed AscendEX’s hot wallets contained very few liquid assets, and major tokens—including Ethereum (ETH), Tether USDt (USDT), and Solana (SOL)—were notably missing from wallet addresses analyzed. This lack of available assets has furthered uncertainty about the exchange’s ability to process and fulfill withdrawal requests promptly. However, the absence of liquid funds in hot wallets does not conclusively indicate insolvency, and Cryptopolitan emphasized that centralized exchanges often hold customer deposits in cold storage, which can be difficult to audit. Despite this, ongoing silence from AscendEX and persistent withdrawal complaints have amplified doubts about the platform’s financial health and transparency. As of reporting time on June 26, AscendEX has not communicated on the issue, and users continue to await resolution amid mounting industry concerns.
